The role

This is not a background role. You will be in customers' homes and businesses every day — and the experience they have often comes down to you. You are skilled, dependable, and professional — and when something unexpected comes up on a job, you handle it with calm confidence and clear communication.

What you'll own

• Install residential and commercial garage doors and openers
• Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and communicate findings clearly to customers
• Represent Ziebell Door Company with professionalism at every job site
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and leave every job site tidy
• Work independently and manage your daily schedule with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with the office team to keep customers informed and jobs on track

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience in construction, mechanical trades, or a related field
• Clean driving record — a company vehicle is required for this role
• Comfortable working independently and solving problems in the field
• Professional, friendly demeanor with customers — this is a customer-facing role every day
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, working on ladders, and performing overhead work
• Reliable and detail-oriented — you take pride in doing the job right the first time
• Able to commute to the Merrill, WI area preferred

• $22–$30 per hour based on experience
